Plum CRM for Jira Cloud Documentation

Introduction

The Goldfinger CRM Application enables tighter collaboration between support and sales teams by bridging the gap between Jira and Salesforce. It displays CRM data directly within Jira issues and Jira data within Salesforce screens, ensuring timely knowledge sharing across disparate teams. The application runs in a multi-tenant, scalable environment, supporting all Atlassian customers within a single Kubernetes cluster.

A typical use case involves a CRM agent recording a customer case. To resolve the case, Engineering needs to be involved, so the agent syncs the case to a Jira project. The project manager is then notified and assigns the work to an engineer. Instead of relying on email or phone, the engineer can request information—such as a log file—by commenting directly in the Jira issue; this comment appears instantly in the CRM case. When the agent attaches the requested file to the CRM case, Plum automatically syncs to the Jira issue. As work progresses, status updates and resolutions sync back to the CRM, keeping the agent and the end customer informed in real-time.
